The University of Minnesota Police Department isĀ investigating two bicycle-related incidents, one of them involving an alleged assault.

The first incident took place near Church Street on Monday afternoon. According to the incident report, a University of Minnesota student was pushed off of his bicycle. The victim, Jesse Roth, was not injured in the incident, though his bicycle was damaged.

There was limited suspect information available as to who may have harmed the student, and the case is listed as currently inactive, pending new information.

Later Monday, UMN student Lydia Lotschevar reported her bicycle being stolen from Amundson Hall. Her bike was secured at the time she left it. The UMPD is also seeking more information related to this second incident.
